Jerry D. Corbin

Jerry Corbin is the writer, producer, and host of Building Memories on WXED 107.3 in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania. He creates radio specials and interviews interesting people. A member of the writer’s guild for 25 years, Jerry has produced a plethora of stories.

His novel, THE FAMILY GOLD, demonstrates the intellectual and emotional rewards that come with discovering the identity of your ancestors. He begins with a story of Civil War gold, then weaves memorable characters and moments through time; 120 years and four generations forward and back to the future. An interesting journey that also proves genealogy is fun.

He is currently writing his second book; a memoir entitled The Miracle Boy. In it, he recounts his many life-and-death experiences–including the time he stole a car and how he survived lung cancer. With over 30 years of experience in genealogy research, Jerry is passionate about uncovering family histories. He also loves playing pool, traveling, and singing–anytime, anywhere.
